| Frozen Pond |

Christmas Day, frozen pond with grass, Mt. Rose, Nevada. I took a short ride with my brother up the Mt. Rose summit highway from his house in Reno. Just over the top there is a little meadow interlaced with ponds. The night-time temperatures had been dipping to the low teens over the past week or so and everything was frozen solid.
